Enjoying Autumn Days

Every year, for the past five years i was travelling to the USA.  Sometimes Spring and most of the time every Autumn (October) ,  to attend the pest control convention. It was only this year that I was able to take spectacular fall foliage photos. I enjoyed so much the changing leaves and the crisp breeze.

I was fortunate and blessed to take these photos -- it was days before Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast.  The moment Sandy was in east coast, I was already back in the Philippines.

AUTUMN in my HEART

I made a photoshow for the first time to remember my visit to the USA as i await my flight back to Manila. 

One of the words on my October Picture was Enchanting. The leaves made a stunning background in this photo. 

Autumn and late Spring are my favorite seasons of the year in the USA because they are both so colorful.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Today we went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was a very enjoyable afternoon walking on the bridge, the tree top walk and Cliff Walk.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Part of Capilano’s captivating story involves the tradition of placing totem poles on the grounds at Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Treetops Adventure.

This park feature allows visitors have a squirrel’s eye view of the entire forest.

It was all YELLOW

It was my first time to be in Portland, Oregon and the leaves was all yellow.  I love the Autumn Leaves for we don't have such colors in the Philippines.

The Grotto at Portland Oregon

We visited this beautiful 62-acre Catholic shrine and botanical garden.  I'm glad that I have the chance to visit amazing places in Portland Oregon.




 “The Grotto” is the popular name of The National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother. 

We're blessed to met Fr. Alby the parish priest who used to be the parish priest at St. Peregrine Church at Tunasan,  Muntinlupa City (The place where i grew up).




The grotto carved from the basalt cliffe 110-foot  where an alter was constructed, above which was placed a full-sized replica of Michelangelo's Pieta.



We were the first visitor  touring the grounds.

since we arrived at 9am the weather was freezing cold ;-)

We walked through the woods on the upper level--

They had areas to pray--stations, rosary mysteries
