My BFF April Lim and I are conducting a class on February 9, 2013 at Lasting Impression and we have made 39 pages to serve as inspiration for everyone.  We were featured today in Manila Bulletin, The Philippines leading national newspaper... sharing the article about our class.

Scrapbooking and Everyday Life

I am a certified addict of project life, but I still make time to create scrapbook layouts.  I am able to do both because  I am automatically enrolled in the monthly page kits of Lasting Impression.

Every month I am soooooo excited about the monthy page kits, they are so awesome and adorable.   You know why?  The kits are like nothing else in the scrapbooking community -- They  were beautifully designed by Iris Babao-Uy a designer based in The Philippines who specialises in teaching classes that marries the beauty of mixed media with traditional scrapbooking. Iris is known for her shabby chic and romantic style but also enjoys working with bold patterns and striking colors. She is currently a designer and a certified educator for Webster’s Pages. She has also previously designed with Basic Grey, Hambly Screen Prints, Fancy Pants, October Afternoon, and was named as one of the first two Prima Masters. Currently she is also a part of the team behind Aussie Scrap Source and The Color Room (both Australian based).  - From Create and Cruise.

Lasting Impression monthly kits use just the right combination of paper and embellishments so that your pictures will always be the focus of your layouts. Once you sign up for the monthly kit club, you are automatically enrolled until you choose to cancel.

Below are the layouts I made for November and December 2012:

Project Life Pages

e-book available at big picture classes
I was more inspired in doing my project life pages when i got this e-book from big picture classes.

I was able to finish the following pages in 3 days.  These pictures where taken while I was in Italy and U.S.A. from September - October 2012.  I am grateful to my ever faithful assistant and to the teachers of my children who took these pictures for me.

PROJECT LIFE: Singapore Trip 2012

"Project Life is a back-to-basics approach to memory-keeping. This simple format requires no skill - only your pictures and a pen. No one's life is perfect but everyone has a story and every family has a collection of memories. Putting pictures + stories together in Project Life makes us more aware of our blessings and encourages us to cultivate a good life"

I started PROJECT LIFE this 2012 because:

  • I have tons of photos. Ever since the digital camera age started I have stored them in my hard drive. i want to see them in print this time.
  • I cannot SCRAP everything into a layout i get stressed. I cannot print everything into photobook because shipping is very expensive.
  • I know my family will love this when they grow up. It's one of the treasures i can give them.
  • I am using my Epson R2000 printer. Printing photos at home give me the freedom to layout exactly what i want in my page.
