Put sugar in a large mixing bowl |
put in the brown sugar |
add baking flour, baking powder, baking soda salt & oats |
add the chocolate chips (for this recipe we did not include the cranberries because my children don't like it) |
stir to combine |
stir in butter |
egg and vanilla extract |
Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes |
drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets |
Bake at 375degrees |
for 8-10 minutes or until browned |
move to wire racks to cool |
yields 3 dozen cookies |
1/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
to prepare cookies
- pour cookie mix into a large mixing bowl; stir to combine
- beat in butter egg and vanilla
- cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes
- drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets
- bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until browned
- move to wire racks to cool
- YIELD 3 dozen cookies
